Evan L. Siegel, MD, FACP, FACR, serves as Medical Director of Arthritis and Rehabilitation Therapy Services, the physical therapy division of Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates, PC. Dr. Siegel serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He has a special interest in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and other spondyloarthropathies such as ankylosing spondylitis. Dr. Siegel is a member of the international Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) and a contributing author on the group’s recently published treatment guidelines. Moreover, he was chairperson of the committee charged with developing PsA guidelines for United Rheumatology, a national group representing private practice rheumatologists, and he is on the American College of Rheumatology committee tasked with developing guidelines for the treatment of PsA. Dr. Siegel has authored or coauthored numerous academic papers relating to the diagnosis and treatment of PsA. He currently serves on the medical board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and on the editorial board of its publication, Psoriasis Advance.
