We invite you to join us for an upcoming peer-to-peer speaker program within the Wellness 4U series, sponsored by UCB! The goal of Wellness4U programs is to inform and guide participants to understand and address unmet needs in an effort to advance patient care and improve patient outcomes.
In this presentation, one of our esteemed Wellness Champions will discuss An Interdisciplinary Approach to Address the Unique Considerations of Women with Autoimmune Diseases.
As part of the program, we will discuss best practices for optimizing the care of women with autoimmune diseases with an interdisciplinary approach to address their comorbidities and systemic manifestations and the skin/gut/joint interrelationships.
We’ll also review how women of childbearing age with autoimmune diseases represent a unique subpopulation and how management decisions can be made in the context of a woman’s reproductive journey.
In addition, we will discuss opportunities for shared decision-making with women with autoimmune diseases to ensure that they are not left alone in navigating the patient journey.
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming program!
