We invite you to join us for an upcoming peer-to-peer speaker program within the Wellness 4U series, sponsored by UCB! The goal of Wellness4U programs is to inform and guide participants to understand and address unmet needs in an effort to advance patient care and improve patient outcomes.
In this presentation, one of our esteemed Wellness Champions will discuss The Impact of Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases and Considerations for Patients with Systemic Manifestations.
During this program, we will review extra-articular, extra-intestinal, and extra-cutaneous manifestations of disease and the skin-gut-joint inter-relationships to highlight the effects of systemic inflammation.
We will also review the humanistic and economic burdens of these systemic manifestations and comorbidities to highlight the impact they can have on patients and the healthcare system.
In addition, we will review the underlying mechanisms of relevant immune-mediated inflammatory diseases to highlight common pathways and molecules that contribute to multiple diseases.
Finally, we’ll discuss approved treatment classes and comorbidities that are considered when making management decisions for patients living with immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
